Costumes Galore

August 30th, 2011

When I picture Halloween the first thoughts that come to my mind are costumes, candy and happy kids. A new trend these days is people dressing up their dogs in costumes and walking the streets for all to admire. The way that you outfit your dog depends completely upon your personal tastes. Some people may choose cute Halloween costumes for dogs like a bumble bee or a princess while other people prefer scarier costumes such as devils or vampires. Either way I believe that it is adorable as well as artsy and creative to dress up your dog for Halloween not to mention the children that will just adore a dressed up pooch.

What Do I want to Eat Today?

August 26th, 2011

If I could only eat three things for the rest of my life it would definitely have to be scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast, ramen noodles for lunch and chicken fried chicken with county gravy for dinner. I can’t live without eggs and Ramen’s are cheap and timeless, plus you can dress them up a million different ways believe it or not! The dinner choice was difficult because things like pizza and chicken parmesan or my mom’s homemade squash soufflé came to mind, but the squash has no meat in it and parmesan would wear thin on me with all that tomato sauce, the same with pizza. So, chicken fried chicken it is!

You Haven’t Seen True Beauty

August 23rd, 2011

The most beautiful thing I have ever seen is love. It’s all around us. It’s the look in someone’s eyes when they tell you they love you, the old couple holding hands or helping each other in and out of the car, the mother holding her newborn baby, two lovers reunited after being apart for so long. There are so many different forms, different ways of expressing it, but if it’s true you can see it and when you do your heart melts. Nothing compares to love. Whether it is for another person or for a hobby or passion such as art, music, dancing, singing, teaching, etc. it does not matter.  If your heart is in it then it is love.

Lotto Dreams

If I won the lottery I would of course change a few things about my life like paying off my college bills, maybe getting a house for my boyfriend and I and most importantly giving back to the ones I love, especially my parents for all they have done. I would get my mom a new car, my dad a new boat, my brother some plane tickets home from Japan to visit us and a trip to visit him, my sister help her with her college, my boyfriend help with his college bills and of course give to a few charity organizations as well. The one that would not change is who I am as a person. Money might make life easier in some aspects, but it does not define it and it does not define me!
