The family tradition that I plan on continuing and passing onto my children would definitely have to be Christmas Eve family get together and gift giving. Every year my Dad’s side of the family gets together after having drawn names and we each give a gift to someone. Sometimes we switch up the technique, like last year we did the Secret Santa game which was fun. The only thing that matters really is all of us being together and enjoying each other’s company. Plus having all of the delicious food certainly does not hurt! My mom goes all out from ham, to casseroles and cookies, pies and cakes. The sky is the limit! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Family is the Tie that Binds Us
August 17th, 2011The City of Water
August 11th, 2011I have not married my significant other yet, but when I do I would love to go to Venice, Italy; better known as the City of Water. It really should be called the City of Love! It just seems so romantic and extra ordinary from the old architecture to the row boats filled with couples all over the sparkling water. Water in itself is peaceful, so sitting on a row boat while an old Italian soul serenades you under a bridge while you are kissing your honey all the way to the suite that overlooks the glistening water sounds magical to me! Call me a crazy romantic, I don’t care, I sure everyone that goes there is. In my opinion you would have to be!

Life Lessons
August 8th, 2011I am not sure I can say I have one greatest achievement in life, because to me life is full of them big and small. To me an achievement is anything that helps you to grow as a person. Even a mistake can turn into an achievement if you learn from it and change for the better. I have made plenty of mistakes in my life and have found a way to grow from them and take at least one lesson from each one. So, I guess I could say that is my greatest achievement, being able to learn from all of my mistakes and grow into the person I have become today.
Under The Sea
August 5th, 2011If I could live underwater for two years I would be a dolphin because they are peacemakers. I would not want to be hunger driven like a shark or small enough to be eaten by one! Instead, I would be able to enjoy the beauty of the ocean and also be loved by humanity, since I have course would be turning back into one after two years! I certainly would not want to come back as a human knowing that I ate one! I would say I would not mind being a whale either, but it really depends on what kind. Some of them seem too big and a bit lethargic whereas dolphins have all of this energy and love! Plus whales get hunted more than dolphins and I would want to avoid that.
