Throughout my life I’ve caved to peer pressure time and time again. I have some very persuasive friends, but if I could change it I’d go back in time and stop myself from accepting that first cigarette. I was a smoker for ten years after and I’m still getting over the effects. For so long, I always smelt like smokes, never had any money and had bad teeth because of it. Such a small thing, a five minute momeny of being cool, had such a huge impact on me and I wish I could erase it.
If I had to exist on just three foods I think I would have to choose wisely. I would need to have strawberries, but seeing as it’s one of my only food items, they would have to be perfect Ontario strawberries. I’m assuming that water doesn’t count, so my second choice would be milk. From milk I’d be able to make so many different things so I can cheat a little with it. My last choice would have to be bread. I love bread, and since I have milk, I can make butter so I’d be set. I would probably die of malnutrition, but I’d die happy.

It doesn’t matter when, it constantly amazes me. I remember walking home from an hour long break fast shift one morning just as the sun was rising. The walk to work had been depressing, just dark and cold. I began to walk towards my apartment when I realized I was staring at a pink and orange sky, the sun slowly rising and filling me with warmth. I was suddenly floored by just how beautiful something so simple could be.
If I won the lottery, the first thing I’d do would be outright buy a house and then pay off the mortgage on my parents. I have a bigger dog who lives in my decent sized apartment with me, but we yearn for a house with a back yard. While we live in a dog friendly community we have no dog park, but with our house, we’d have all the space we need. I’d be sure build a giant fence so stop her from breaking out, but she could run to her hearts content and play with her dog friends. Actually, I’d also find a way to build a dog park close by. There’s prime dog park location in my neighbour that’s just in need of a buyer, a fence, and a garbage can.
