Feeding Your Dog Everyday

May 31st, 2011

Every morning when I wake up there are a couple things I do. At the top of my list is one of my main priorities in life, my dog. To start my morning I take my dog out and then come in and feed my dog. I put her food in her large dog bowl. Feeding your dog everyday is very important because just like us they need the proper nutrients in their lives. That is another thing that is important, to give your dog the right food. Make sure that you don’t overfeed your dog either because they can get fat and unhealthy. Cute dog bowls are often advertised just like the food put in them, but my opinion there is only one good type of dog bowl. This type is the kind that is lifted off the ground so your dog doesn’t have to stress and reach down. How would you feel if you had to bend down to eat every time you were hungry? It would not be a good experience. Feeding your dog everyday in the correct manner is very important.

Childhood, a simpler time

May 28th, 2011

The one thing I miss from my childhood that is no longer available to me, is freedom.  As a child, I had to go to school, but a huge portion of the day was free for me to do whatever I wanted to do.  Sometimes that meant riding my bike around town for three hours in the evenings, or spending an entire day in the swimming pool, not having to worry about anything at all.  The world was a much simpler place when I was young.  Seems like my family was always together at meal times, and when Summer rolled around each year, we’d all pile in the car and go on vacation far away.

What are you working towards?

May 24th, 2011

My current goals in life aren’t that great.  I’m not shooting for the stars right now, but I am working towards paying off the debt that I am in.  This includes the loans I took out for school and also for my car.  I’m struggling to keep my bills current while trying to save a little bit of cash at the same time.  I’d like to travel some time in the future, but that’s proving to be a challenge.  I’m only getting older and the money flow doesn’t seem to be coming in any faster.  Realistically, I don’t believe I will meet any of these goals without making a change.  I don’t make enough right now to get ahead in life.  The only option I can think of that will work without having to spend more money on schooling is the military.  I believe that if I join the military I will be able to meet these goals I’ve listed above.  Maybe even goal I haven’t listed.  When opportunity knocks, more than one door opens.

If I could relive the last 5 years of my life, I would change the way that I acted in College.  I went right out of high school and didn’t really feel like I wanted to be there.  I was smart enough, sure, but I was incredibly lazy.  I was more interested in hanging out with friends and playing video games than I was with going to classes and making the money I spent worth it.  If I had the foresight to knuckle down and get my work done when I had the chance, maybe I wouldn’t be in this dead end job that I hate.  Maybe I’d be in a different country right now, like many of my classmates are.  Maybe I wouldn’t be alone.
