My Baby Girl

February 24th, 2011

For my first wedding anniversary my Mom bought my husband and I a new puppy. She is without a doubt the best gift I have ever received. We have now had her eight years and we love her dearly. She takes the place of children for us since we are unable to have children. She is a daschund/ rat terrier mix. She is full of energy and very loving. The only problem is she refuses to learn any commands. She is her own dog and will do as she pleases. I believe we spoiled her way to much as a puppy.

My student career is either winding down, or just getting started.  I’ve earned about one years worth of credits at a traditional university and decided it wasn’t for me.  Now I study utilizing online classes as my medium for learning of choice.  The thing is… when I started I was studying bookkeeping.  I finished that program and earned a diploma.  Now I’m working on a freelance writing diploma program.  It’s a rewarding and interesting subject (the both of them actually).  If only I could put the two together and make them work somehow in a way that could earn me a living.

Fantasy Trip

February 17th, 2011

My vacation with any two people would be to Japan.  It’s far away.  But I’m fascinated by Japan.  My friend Paul would come with me and he also loves Japanese animations.  He loves Japanese animations to the point where he’ll draw cartoons in a Japanese style.  My friend Paul is an artist.  He considered moving to Japan to open an animation studio.  The plan has not yet come to fruition.  Philip, my friend, is always fun to have around and we’ve traveled together before.  He’s the second person I’d travel with on my vacation with any two people to Japan!

This holiday had good and bad aspects to it.  Luckily, the good outweighed the bad.  I don’t like travel. so that was bad because I traveled out of the country by plane.  Being there was good!  I was in Trinidad and Tobago and that means I was drinking beverages available in the Caribbean and not in the United States of America.  Now, the climate down there; that’s the best part.  Where I was, it never snows. and it never gets as hot as it does in summer around here.  It’s nice to get some gifts for the holidays as well.
