Through the Mist

Today i sat around the house debating whether or not i should go put out applications for a job or not. i also looked into possible options for community colleges to attend around my area. i fixed a bowl of cereal to eat for breakfast. i got online and tried to find different ways to increase my income with little to no real extra work. i tried looking up new bands and new songs that i might like to listen to, to put on my ipod and listen to later. i watched a very little bit of tv and watched a movie or two on my computer. i took a two hour nap.

Since this question is pretty open ended then I will try telling you about Starcraft.  Starcraft is a game played at the highest of competitive levels.  I absolutely love it, and so do many other people.  In Korea it is like a national sport there.  The biggest tournaments will literally fill baseball stadiums and the best players have six figure salaries.  Right now there is a tournament going on called the GOM Starcraft League or GSL and the grand prize for first place is $87,000.  That’s an insane amount of money!  The game takes the dexterity of a musician and the tactics of a chess master to play professionally.  Honestly, I don’t even really play the game myself.  I just love watching it.  Much like football, I don’t out or play football ever, but I still tune in to watch the Cowboys lose.  Starcraft though is a sport that is gaining popularity and hopefully one day will even be on ESPN.  I know it probably won’t, but a nerd can hope!

It was a vacationing town so most of the population ends up being either old people that are mostly just there over the winter or Mexicans and Vietnamese people that are there because they will work for cheap.  It is a big sea food town so there are a lot of great places too eat.  That is honestly the best thing about the town.  A lot of people go there for the beach or the artwork, but the restaurants there are second to none.  Being able to have super fresh seafood makes all the difference in taste and when you can walk from your house to the dock, then getting your food fresh isn’t very much of a problem

Oh man, I’m so very glad you asked.  This was the last day of class so I wore my very best clothes.  I have this maroon shirt with black designs on it that was slightly too small at the beginning of the semester, but thanks to my recent diet(or lack there of) I have been able to fit into it quite nicely.  I have on some black Hurley shorts with my Nike sneakers and black socks that barely show out of my shoe, but is noticeable enough to now that it’s all coordinated quite nicely.  I have very few outfits that fit me now that I have lost a lot of weight, but this is one that I look most attractive in.  I get some pretty sweet looks from the ladies that I haven’t ever really gotten before, and I quite like it.
