Yesterday, I had the dish Parantha Pudina along with Paneer butter masala for my dinner. Parantha Pudina is a very light dish that is prepared with the addition of very less oil. Parantha Pudina will be very much similar to the Indian Chappathi. The pudina added to the Parantha increases the taste of the dish and also makes the dish a healthy one. Paneer butter masala is also a very delicious side dish. It is prepared with several spice items, milk cream and paneer. It has a very sweet taste and a creamy texture. It is gravy with a very soft texture.

The Cool December Season

November 24th, 2010

My favorite season is the cool December season. The climate will be very chill and rainy. Due to the heavy rainfall during this season, many birds migrate to the isolated regions. As I live in a place that is located very far away from the city side along with my family, the chances of seeing several different birds during the month of December will be very high. Also, the beauty of the nature will be enhanced a lot during this season. The trees and plants that we have planted in our garden grows very well and yields good fruits and vegetables during this season.

In coming Snowball!

November 22nd, 2010

Everyone is proud of their animals, especially when your big ball of fur greets you with his brown loving eyes, each time you come home. What can I say, my Snowball is a menace for the whole neighborhood, but each time he manages to get away without a kick in the ass. Everybody knows him, and they all like him. He always does something: ruining Mrs. Colin’s roses, scaring poor Chuckles (the next door neighbor’s little Chihuahua) and his biggest yet, chasing my daughter’s boyfriend until they both fell in the pool (which was getting cleaned and had only a bit of water in). Luckily both of them got just some bruises and Snowball is limping a bit. After the incident I had to buy him dog ramps to get in the car, as for the next week or so, the doctor said he won’t be able to jump. And it was really a pretty good deal as it’s an aluminum dog ramp and it’s not only useful for the car. As for Snowball, now he’s best friends with Dan, cause’ I don’t know how he does it, but no matter what, no one can resist his charm!

Last weekend, I went to a movie called “Endhiran”. This movie is made in the language Tamil. It is the Asia’s large budget movie. I saw the movie in a theatre in City Centre complex. I spent about 3 hours in the movie. I also had popcorn, ice creams and other snacks in the interval period. I went along with my old college friends to the movie. After watching the movie, I went to a restaurant and had my dinner along with my friends. I had parantha pudina along with paneer butter masala for the dinner. The taste was excellent. Rest of my friends had some north Indian foods for their dinner. Later, we went for shopping in a garment shop that is situated very close to the restaurant where we had dinner.
