Last night I had hot dogs for dinner. Yes, hot dogs. Delicious, 100% beef franks with chili, cheese, and onions. The chili was homemade, and far better than the stuff you buy in a can. I seared the hot dogs in a skillet, to bring out their flavor. Ordinarily, I prefer grilled dogs, but it seems like the point of eating hot dogs is to minimize effort, and going out and starting the grill just to feed myself seems in violation of this ethic. So, pan-fried they were! I tossed those bad boys into some fresh, soft buns with hot chili and melted sharp cheddar on top and gave them a generous sprinkling of onion. How can anyone say hot dogs are junk food? This was a top-notch meal!

Hot Dogs are Under Rated
October 28th, 2010Boots are still in!
October 26th, 2010So anyway, like any other day, I wore my stylish black boots with tight jeans. Yes, I’m talking about skinny jeans. They are still in and so are my boots. I wore them with a nice black shirt and a leather jacket. I thought it looked great. I also accessorized with the latest plaid scarves, which look really cool. What was missing from my outfit was a nice purse to go along with my outfit. I usually just carry my coach wristlet around, but I really need to buy a purse soon. The new coach collection just came out. Maybe I will take a look soon.

Professional Student
October 21st, 2010I am a professional student. This is a unique career option, in that instead of being paid for my work, I pay to work. Being a professional student requires secondary employment, often in the form of low wage retail or food service work. Frugal living and an obsession with saving money are a way of life. Maybe that seems bleak, but in truth it is very freeing. My responsibilities are small, my pay is sufficient, and I can choose my own path in life. Sure, I probably will never own a home, but what is home ownership good for if I can’t take advantage of new opportunities for travel and education? I think I am living the American dream.
It’s all about Blake Lively

I like Blake Lively. She’s a pretty good actress and she also looks good as well. She has done an amazing job on Gossip Girl playing Serena. Serena has many sides of her personality which are accurately portrayed by Blake Lively. Blake Lively has always looked good in my opinion. Even when she is under dressed or not wearing makeup, she has a certain glow to her face. She’s the image of natural beauty in my mind and I could always appreciate that. I also like that she has worked hard to make a name for herself. She’s really tall but she still has the confidence to succeed.
