My Poodle

September 29th, 2010

Dolly, that is the name of my sweet puppy. I got her one year back. She is a part of my life now. I cannot pass a day without seeing her. She has her own little room in my house. She has a small bed to sleep, a plate to eat and she has some dog football jerseys also. When I do not want to go to work I spend most of my time with her. She also helps me a lot in her own way. One thing is sure that she doesn’t give me any problems. She is a little naughty but that just adds to her sweetness. Another specialty of our relationship is that both of us do not have any other relatives. She is like my child and I can’t even imagine a life without her.

Spooky Clothes

September 27th, 2010

I am often told by my friends and family about how my clothes are quite scary. I tend to dress in the Gothic style, which consists of dark colors, plaid, and belts with metal spiked studs on them. I dressed like that for most of high school and as an adult I still do. Basically, my wardrobe consists of clothes with obscure movie and game references, strange slogans, and maybe a few heavy metal band shirts. Of course, I have lots of black boots. Some of them are quite tall, while others are flat. The only times I wear something that is not Gothic is if it is for something professional like work or church. I have some nice dresses, but those just are not apart of my preferable style.

YAHOOOOO!

September 23rd, 2010

Wow, I’ve been a member of Yahoo for about eight years now. I’ve had the same primary e-mail address through them all this time. I feel strange when I use other e-mail services, such as MSN and Gmail. Don’t get me wrong, those services are good too, but I guess I do not really like to change companies once I am satisfied with the performance of one company’s services. I’ve never encountered any problems while using Yahoo, so I doubt I ever will change it. I sometimes feel goofy since the name I have for my yahoo e-mail address is from some obscure video game reference from a game that came out in 2001. Yeah, I still use the same e-mail address that I had when I was a young teenager. I am not that much older now, but it still feels odd using it sometimes. I did go ahead and made a more professional sounding yahoo e-mail address though.

Oh Canada

Five years ago I went through a really bad and messy break up with a man that I had been seeing for nearly six years. Since I am very distrustful of men at the moment, I settle for being single. Due to being sick, I don’t really get out much anymore, and my old friends seemed to have moved on without me. It gets very depressing and lonely at times, but I have a friend I talk to quite often who lives in Canada. She knows about a lot of the problems I am going through and we both have a lot of common interests, such as what we watch on television, and our majors in college. We even have similar personalities, so we get along quite well. No matter how stressful or busy our lives get, we still talk to each other at least once a week. Even though I haven’t physically met her, we both feel like we’ve known each other for an eternity, which is why I consider her to be my best friend.
