Through the Mist

This past week I was a bit sidelined by a bad cold.  However, I had a friend coming to visit from NYC for the weekend and still needed to be sure to complete some guestroom renovations in advance of her arrival.  The days leading up to her being dropped unceremoniously by the Fung Wah bus in Chinatown were filled with floor sanding, polyurethane fumes, and quick paint color decisions.  As if that wasn’t enough, I pricked my finger at least a hundred times finishing off curtains and throw pillows to complete the room.  It was completely worth it though, as I had a fabulous time with my friend, and my cold miraculously cleared just prior to her arrival.

I’m sure you will read this looking for something deep and meaningful. Perhaps you’ve read everything before it and expect something along the lines of what you’ve already read. Sorry to disappoint. This is merely a reflection of my expansive vernacular, my mastery of the English lexicon. A prideful statement wrapped in jejune verbiage fraught with ‘big words’ with sub-rosa meanings all of which ends in… Hoot is the owls song, sang in the sadness of night, till comes the morns light. My dog Tippu is of German shepherd breed. I bought it from a Kennel club of our place. German shepherd is a working dog developed originally for herding sheep. Because of their strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training they are often employed as police dogs and war dogs, around the world. Due to their loyal and protective nature, the German shepherd is one of the most popular breeds. They are considered to be the third most intelligent breed of dog, behind Border Collies and Poodles. My dog Tippu is very passionate to children s. I use to play with him. The main problem faced by my dog is infection to its ears. My dog is also suffering from disease named elbow dysplasia. So I keep my dog in orthopedic dog bed. Orthopedic dog beds provide comfort to my disabled dog. Our orthopedic dog beds come with removable, machine washable covers so you can make easy clean up of any accidents. German shepherd is of variety of colors. My dog is of tan/black color. The German shepherd will do okay in an apartment if sufficiently exercised. They are relatively inactive indoors and do best with at least a large yard. I brush my dog daily. Bathing is made only when ever is needed. German Shepherds are one of the smartest and most trainable breeds.

Lunch for two with me and Jesus, yes I did say Jesus as in the Christ. I was raised a Christian but I can’t help if I have a little doubting Thomas in me so I’d love to ask him some questions before it’s too late. The 2nd person id want to eat with would be Warren Buffet and just talk business. I was a business major in college and read his book and am impressed with his savvy investing methods. The last person id like a sit down lunch with would be President Obama, I’m sure that’s a cliché answer but I wouldn’t want badger him with the usual questions or ask for a handout id really just want to get to know him outside of the presidential light and meet him as just two men eating lunch.
