A simple and shy boy

November 30th, 2009

I am a simple boy. I always love to wear formal clothes. I never wear casual clothes like jeans. I have an old looking hair style. I am also very shy I don’t approach girls easily unless they talk freely to me. I love traveling. It relaxes my mood. I also like to eat food that is tasty. I eat fast food once a while. I like to make friends with new people. I wear T shirt with trousers to give me the new and modern look. I like to go to the beach as the fresh air and waves relax my mind.

GRAY

November 27th, 2009

MY dog gray…named for his color. He started out named Dusty but everyone followed my lead with calling him gray it fits. Our little Gray has been the love and terror of our families lives since day one. He has loved and treated the children as though they were his own but he has chewed, mangled, and buried every toy they have owned that was left out side. Now he has decided that he would like to live with the neighbors so the one portion or our fence that is under 5 feet has found a way to climb bounce or jump to get there. Not only are they not happy about this neither are we because we have to go clear around their house to get to their fence opening and drag him back to our house just so that by the time we get back to the door he can be back over in their yard. He’d get into the neighbors dog cologne spray. I have to admit although they are not happy about this situation they should not have stood in that little spot and fed the dog treats all summer long then maybe he would like to live with his own family.

Bringing a new pet home

November 26th, 2009

Introducing a new pet to your home where other pets live can be a challenge. However, if certain simple steps are taken it can be a more pleasant experience. Be certain to introduce the dogs in a neutral location such as the front yard, sidewalk, at a neighbor’s home or at a park.  Also have more than one person available so that equal attention is paid to both animals. Breed selection is often helpful.  Avoid breeds known for their aggression or one owner type personalities.  Also, provide new bedding, toys, and doggie pajamas so that territories can be easily established.  This makes the new pet feel welcome and the existing pet realize their old territory remains their own.  These simple pointers will help your new pet assimilate to its new family and home quickly.

Looking after a companion dog

November 25th, 2009

Dogs come in many varieties, temperaments and sizes.  When you choose a dog, it is important to consider his (or her) needs, as much as yours.  Ultimately, dogs are living creatures and they have their needs just as people do. When you select a small dog, it may be a very active variety that will require a lot of exercise and might be good for a family with children; or it may be a companion dog better suited to an older person or a couple.  Companion dogs, as the name suggests, are there to provide company.  That in itself is a beautiful thing.  However, the price we pay is that such a dog cannot be left alone all day while the owners go to work.  Providing food and water and shelter from weather is not sufficient to provide a happy life for a companion dog.  They need stuff too, like toys and dog Christmas stockings during the holidays. Don’t be fooled by the fact it’s a small dog.  He has a very big heart! And when you’re not there, he hurts.
